The lecture will start with an introduction to the laser processing technology. Following this, the
application of the technique for the machining of titanium will be presented using both analytical
and experimental results. The lecture will finish by the presentation of work conducted on the
processing of Zr-based amorphous alloys using both single and multiple pulses.
